 For wood flooring less than 1/2" (12 mm) thick, the recommended application is with a 3/16" x 5/32" trowel, offering efficient coverage of 45 to 55 square feet per U.S. gallon. If you are working with wood flooring between 1/2" to 5/8" thick, the optimal trowel size is 1/8" x 1/4" x 1/4", with coverage ranging from 40 to 50 square feet per U.S. gallon.
